Today I discovered yet another tool that friends in Ohio developed in 2005. It is called Drug Free Clubs of America. The kids literally have to have a negative drug test in order to be members (with parents’ permission of course). Then at random times throughout the year, sporadic tests are done. The teens have the perfect excuse NOT to do drugs because they could be tested at any time. Their membership cards entitle them to perks provided by community supporters. How cool is that!! I personally like it a lot. There are about 5,000 kids involved in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

And I am still enamored with the “Just Say Yes” Coalition in Franklin County Kentucky (a Planet Youth program from the Icelandic model). www.justsayyesky.org. They get a YES Card that is worth $400 for activities in the community that they might not have money for from their parents. Wild idea!
And www.cascadegamechanger.com (another Planet Youth program in Cascade, Idaho). Population of about 5,500. Go figure.
Of course, my favorite of all time is: https://metrodrug.org/
This coalition is over 30 years old in Knoxville. Yes, I know. Knoxville. Just a dream….. They are the ones that have a certification that churches can earn by attending training on understanding addiction and reducing stigma. “The least of these” concepts.
Have a blessed day!

Interesting analysis! Seeing platforms like Betso88 embrace local payment methods is smart for the Filipino market. Considering responsible gaming is key, and checking out the betso88 app download might be a good starting point for research. Good read!
