This plan was so successful that an organization has been formed to help schools and communities achieve the same success. It is called: The Hope Squad.
The same concepts and ideas can be used to prevent youth from starting to experiment with drugs and avoid drug addiction. Combining both suicide prevention and drug use together in one program can be effective in eliminating both issues.
The Hope Squad is about suicide prevention, but the same principle can be applied to creating a drug free Ashley County. To some extent, doing drugs is suicide.
